Every year we put on a surf contest that's free to enter. Sponsors are the reason it stays that way.
Where the money goes
We're a 501(c)(3), and what we raise pays for treatment for people who can't afford it — veterans, people fighting addiction and alcoholism, and people living with brain and emotional trauma.
Not a general fund. Treatment, for people in this community.
We do this because we lost friends who couldn't get help in time. That's the whole reason the event exists, and at noon on the 27th we paddle out and say their names.
