Important Information

What should I bring?
Your board, a wetsuit if needed, sunscreen, water, and a signed waiver if you have one printed.
Is the contest really free?
Yes! There is no entry fee. South Bay Legends is fully funded by donations and sponsors.
What happens after I register?
You'll receive a confirmation email with the schedule, waiver, and check-in details.
What if conditions are unsafe?
We monitor conditions closely. If the event is postponed, all registered surfers will be notified immediately.
When should I arrive?
Check-in opens one hour before your heat. We recommend arriving early to find parking.
Can parents register minors?
Yes, a parent or guardian must complete registration and sign the waiver at check-in.
Where can I find the schedule?
The full heat schedule will be posted here and emailed to registered surfers before the event.
